MEROENGINEERING LEGAL

Terms of Service

The rules and conditions that apply when you access or use MeroEngineering.

Last updated: 30 July 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using MeroEngineering, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

MeroEngineering provides syllabus information, past questions, academic tools, account features, and optional paid access for engineering students. The service is a study aid only. It is not an official publication of Tribhuvan University, the Institute of Engineering, any campus, or any payment provider, unless expressly stated.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and use an account you are authorized to use.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for securing your Google account and devices.
  • You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Academic identity details may become locked after setup because they are used to determine content access. Corrections may require administrator review.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts used for fraud, unauthorized access, scraping, redistribution, abuse, or violation of these terms.

4. Free and paid content

Some content is public, while premium questions and back-subject access may require payment and an approved entitlement. Premium access is limited to the department, semester, subjects, duration, and other scope shown when purchasing or approving the request. Access does not transfer ownership of the content and may not be shared with another person.

5. Payments, approval, and refunds

  • Prices, duration, and scope are shown before payment and are controlled by the service.
  • eSewa and Khalti payments are made directly through those providers. Never share your PIN, password, or OTP with MeroEngineering or an administrator.
  • Submitting a transaction reference does not itself activate access. Activation occurs only after the payment and requested scope are verified.
  • You must submit an accurate, unique transaction reference belonging to your payment. Fraudulent or replayed references may be rejected and may result in account suspension.
  • Unless required by applicable law, approved digital access is generally non-refundable once it has been activated. Duplicate or mistaken payments should be reported promptly and will be reviewed individually.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • bypass authentication, payment, subscription, department, semester, or subject restrictions;
  • share premium content, account access, transaction references, or session credentials;
  • scrape, copy in bulk, resell, republish, or create a competing dataset from the service;
  • upload malicious, unlawful, deceptive, or rights-infringing material;
  • probe, attack, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or another user;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent payment or academic information; or
  • use automated systems beyond normal search-engine indexing without written permission.

7. Content and intellectual property

The website design, software, organization, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Past examination questions and third-party marks may belong to their respective owners. MeroEngineering organizes such material for educational reference and does not claim ownership where it does not hold it.

If you believe content infringes your rights, email us with the relevant URL, a description of the work or right involved, your contact details, and enough information for us to evaluate the request.

8. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep content useful and accurate, but past questions, syllabus mappings, marks, dates, answers, semester calculations, and other information may be incomplete or incorrect. Confirm important academic information with official sources. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Third-party services and links

Google, Cloudflare, eSewa, Khalti, AI tools, and other third-party services operate under their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, outages, or transactions outside our control.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. MeroEngineering will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or educational losses arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Enforcement and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, content, payment integrity, or service security, or when these terms are violated. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including payment, ownership, disclaimer, and liability provisions, will survive.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without prejudice to consumer protections that apply to you. Questions, payment disputes, and rights notices may be sent tosupport.meroengineering@gmail.com.
