A step down DC chopper has a 20Ω resistor load and input voltage 220V. When the converter switch is ON, its voltage drop in chopper switch is 1V and the chopper frequency is 2KHz. If the duty cycle is 0.8, calculate: (i) Average value of the output voltage, (ii) Efficiency of chopper circuit.
