Electrostatics

Derive an expression for electric field intensity on the axis of charged plastic ring of radius $R$ and show that electric field is maximum at a distance $$\frac{R}{\sqrt{2}}$$ from the centre of ring.

What do you mean by electric field?

What happens to an electric dipole moment if the charge is doubled and separation is halved?
