A cast steel magnetic structure made of a bar of section $2\ \text{cm} \times 2\ \text{cm}$ is shown in figure. Determine the current that the 500 turns magnetizing coil on the left limb should carry so that a flux of $2\ \text{mWb}$ is produced in the right limb. Take $\mu_r = 600$ and neglect leakage.
[IMAGE: Cast steel magnetic structure with three limbs A, B and C. A 500-turn magnetizing coil carrying current I is wound on the left limb A. Flux Φ flows in limb A, Φ1 in the central limb B and Φ2 in the right limb C. Top yoke lengths of 25 cm are marked on each side of the central limb and the limb height is marked as 15 cm.]
