Oscillation

Derive an expression for the time period of a physical pendulum. Show that the point of suspension and the point of oscillation are interchangeable in case of bar pendulum.

Write any two differences between torsional and compound pendulum. Derive the differential equation and its time period for torsional pendulum. Is there any limitation of angular displacement in this pendulum?

A simple pendulum of length 20 cm and mass 5 gm is suspended in a car traveling with constant speed 70 m/s around a circle of radius 50 m. If the pendulum undergoes small oscillation in a radial direction about its equilibrium position, what is the frequency of oscillation?
